Creating a unique home gym experience at an Elizabethan manor with Cookson Adventures

The client wanted to holiday in a beautiful home that had a fitness and wellness space. Max found the perfect off-market property through Cookson Adventures’ network, but it didn’t have a home gym. Knowing that the temporary wellness space had to be of the very highest standard, Max turned to Technogym to collaborate on the project, relying on them to advise, supply, and install the home gym during the busy set-up period.

Max identified a glass-roofed courtyard as the ideal location for the temporary home gym and Technogym worked with Cookson’s team to design and install a bespoke home gym that matched the aesthetic and functional standards of a world-class wellness retreat.

The setup included Technogym Run – for cardio and power training –, Technogym Connected Dumbbells – for tailored strength training –, Technogym Ride – for the most realistic indoor cycling experience – and all-in-one station Technogym Bench, creating a connected ecosystem that enabled the family to continue their personalised training programmes throughout their stay.

The space became a central part of the family’s stay, a retreat they used twice a day to focus on movement, recovery, and connection. The home gym was so well-received that it set a new benchmark for how Cookson integrates wellness into private holidays.
