Embassy Gardens Elevates Resident Wellness At Ambassador and Legacy With Technogym
Embassy Gardens, the landmark luxury residential development in London's Nine Elms, has upgraded its residents gyms to feature the latest Technogym innovations.
Set across 6.07 hectares in central London's most significant regeneration project, Embassy Gardens is home to 2,400 residents. The development features world-class amenities including the iconic Sky Pool, cinema, spa, restaurants, and the private EG:LE club. Among all these offerings, the health clubs remain the most popular amenity.
Embassy Gardens attracts a young, professional demographic for whom wellness is a priority. The offering extends beyond gym and studio spaces to include massage therapy, extensive class schedules, health talks, seminars, and regular activation days delivered in partnership with Technogym.
Fitness Manager Max Taylorson explains how the strategic investment in equipment and digital solutions is adding value to the resident experience at its Ambassador and Legacy buildings. One of Max’s priorities was upgrading the gym equipment to deliver an up-to-date wellness experience that continued to match the premium standard across the development.

Wellness at the Heart of Residential Design
Embassy Gardens offers gym and studio space in its Ambassador and Legacy buildings. Prior to the transformation, 80% of residents chose to use the Ambassador gym, whilst Legacy served as a conditioning space without a comprehensive equipment range. The objective of the refurbishment was to act on requests from residents, to create equal facilities that would balance usage.
Max invited residents to consultation meetings and worked with Technogym to fulfil specific equipment requests. The result was two gym transformations tailored to each space that balanced out footfall between the two facilities. The strategy is already working, with more people using the facilities.
"We are a premium offer and give our residents the best of the best," said Max. "The new Technogym equipment looks fresh and modern, and allows us to bring in advanced solutions like AI-powered assessments and on-demand content.”
Legacy’s gym received the most significant upgrade, evolving into a fully equipped gym space. The facility now features free weights, resistance equipment, and an impressive cardio zone including Technogym Skillrun, Skillrow, Skillup, and Skillmill, with Skilltools for functional training. The transformation has converted what was once a secondary space into a destination that mirrors the quality of Ambassador’s gym.
Ambassador’s space received refreshed equipment including the complete Technogym Skill Line range and strength solutions requested by residents, including Technogym Pure Strength Adductor, Abductor, Chest Press, and Shoulder Press.

"We wanted to bring in the most modern, accurate, and engaging assessment solution and Technogym Checkup ticks all the boxes," said Max. "As well as the benefits of the Technogym Checkup assessment it's also a great way for getting residents to adopt the Technogym App, which then gives them access to all the features of the app, including fitness content they can do in their own homes.”
The addition of Technogym Skill Line equipment has impressed residents with its versatility and advanced capabilities. When the gyms reopened, Technogym Educators provided training to staff and residents, showcasing features that will maximise residents’ training outcomes.
