The Apiary showcases synergy of work and wellness with cutting-edge corporate wellness space
The Apiary in Manchester city centre has undergone an impressive transformation, creating a wellness-focused office space that delivers value to tenants and investors. Gal Nadir and Assaf Topaz from Zenith Real Estate Partners explain why “work, wellness, lifestyle” has become The Apiary’s strapline, and how choosing Technogym is creating a unique tenant experience.

Modern wellness amenities that reposition office buildings
It's no secret that gyms and fitness facilities are a lifestyle requirement, especially for Gen Z, and working from home made it easier for many to incorporate wellness into their routine. A core concept is to add a modern wellness facility that rivals any external gym membership, adding value for tenants and driving retention for employers.
“Through thoughtful investment and ambitious partnerships, we can create office spaces that acknowledge ESG values and encourage people back into the office,” said Gal Nadir at Zenith Real Estate Partners. “This approach will improve employee wellbeing, and enhance the value of buildings now and into the future.”
Digital solutions to optimise the fitness space
The vision for The Apiary’s refurbishment was one of high-end equipment, luxury finishes, and a holistic tenant experience in line with boutique spaces. Technogym was selected as strategic long-term partner for The Apiary’s wellness space, which was launched as “Technogym @The Apiary”.


Although the studio will host some instructor-led classes, the facility is largely unmanned. Technogym digital products, including the Technogym App and software allows tenants to access classes, content, and training programmes, and make full use of the equipment’s advanced functionality, at any time of the day. Furthermore, Technogym’s digital connectivity capabilities, allow employees to synchronise their workout session at work, with their daily routine at home.


“We have extremely high standards, and co-branding with Technogym was the obvious decision,” said Assaf Topaz, a partner at Zenith. “To create an experience you need collaborators, and Technogym are market leaders who bring innovation, insights, and brand visibility to the project.”
Technogym @The Apiary officially launched with the support of Technogym Educators and bespoke co-branded merchandise for attendees, who experienced the content-rich connectivity of the space before enjoying a wellness breakfast in The Apiary.
Co-branding for an elevated office gym experience
Launching Technogym @The Apiary has taken this office building to the next level – that of office experience, with a brand story that adds value to tenants and stakeholders. Zenith Real Estate Partners are delighted with the success of the project, and have made suitable space part of the acquisition criteria as they look to recreate the experience in buildings across the UK. It’s clear that adding a cutting-edge wellness facility to office buildings is a tangible path for value creation.
